your authentic tarot experience in paris
Where can I get a tarot reading in English in Paris?
Bonne Aventure Paris offers private tarot readings in English and French, by appointment throughout Paris.
From individual consultations to private gatherings and special events, our experienced readers offer a personal and engaging encounter with the fascinating world of tarot, combining centuries-old traditions with a thoughtful, contemporary approach.
I've never had a tarot reading before. What should I expect?
A tarot reading is a conversation, guided by the cards and the way they tell your story.
Your reader will introduce the process and help you identify the questions or themes you wish to explore. They will then choose a suitable card spread and guide you through the symbols, patterns and perspectives that emerge from the cards that were pulled.
Every reading is a personal experience, shaped by your questions, your circumstances and the conversation itself.
Do I need to have a question?
It is not necessary to arrive with a very specific question. A tarot reading can also be helpful for navigating general circumstances or transitions in your life from a broader perspective.
We offer different approaches to accommodate both, and we can guide you in figuring out what would be most beneficial.
Do I need to “believe” in tarot?
Not at all.
Tarot can be approached in many ways: as a divinatory tradition, a symbolic language, a tool for reflection or simply an intriguing experience.
You don't need to subscribe to any particular belief system to appreciate a reading.

about tarot and bonne aventure paris
What is Bonne Aventure Paris?
Bonne Aventure Paris is a contemporary house of divination, inspired by the arts of fortune-telling, the practice of tarot reading and our fascination with time and chance. Deeply rooted in Paris's Left Bank and its rich history of esotericism, Bonne Aventure is conceived as a place where everyone is welcome to explore their own relationship with the mysteries of time, fate and the plot twists in between.
Our project brings curious minds together through private readings, events, research and artistic projects, and a carefully curated selection of books and treasures dedicated to the divinatory arts.
The Bonne Aventure Paris shop and studio is scheduled to open in early 2027.
In the meantime, private tarot readings are already available by appointment throughout Paris.
Who is behind Bonne Aventure Paris?
Born in Paris, Serena is the founder of Bonne Aventure Paris. To conceive and bring to life unique experiences, she collaborates with a network of researchers, artists, writers and experienced tarot readers and astrologers from the French and international esoteric communities.
Can tarot predict the future?
Tarot and other divinatory practices have been used to explore questions of fate and fortune for centuries. They are approached through as many beliefs, sensibilities and superstitions as there are people who practise them.
Tarot can act as a catalyst, bringing the subconscious to the surface and giving expression to our intuition and authenticity. Rather than offering an infallible account of what lies ahead, it can unveil different facets of our personal stories and open up new perspectives.
At Bonne Aventure Paris, we believe the future is ours to shape, and we see tarot as a means of exploring possibilities and inspiring transformation.
What kind of tarot deck is used for the reading?
Bonne Aventure Paris offers readings with the traditional French “Tarot de Marseille”, which belongs to a centuries-old, living European tradition with roots in Renaissance Italy.
Depending on your preferences and situation, we can also read the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot, first published in 1909, fully illustrated throughout the Minor Arcana and particularly influential in the English-speaking world.
Other contemporary tarot and oracle decks are also available for creative consulting sessions. If you're interested in exploring different approaches, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Each deck offers its own possibilities for interpretation, with distinct imagery, symbolism and reading traditions.
